Job Summary

SEIMAX Technologies LP, a related entity of Seismic Exchange, Inc. , provides the latest seismic data processing services and technology to the oil and gas industry. SEIMAX is the developer of SeisUP® , a fully-integrated processing system used internally and licensed to commercial seismic processing companies as well as clients with in-house geoscience teams. Our in-house R&D team support our processing and software needs.

SEIMAX is looking for a Senior Geophysicist to join our processing team. Successful candidate should have at least 5 years of time and depth processing experience in land and marine seismic data. We are interested in adding a member to our team who is highly motivated and versatile. Candidate will work with managers and technical advisors in all project phases, including the design of seismic imaging workflow and quality control. Candidate will process, lead and may manage such projects, as needed. Candidate will ensure company policies and procedures are adhered and provide recommendations as necessary.

Additional Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to conduct, lead and manage seismic imaging projects.
  • Strong organizational skills in project management.
  • Ability to work closely with clients, ensuring timely completion of projects that exceed client expectations.
  • Detailed oriented and highly motivated individual who works within a team environment.
  • Experience with seismic processing software(s) (SeisUP preferred).
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate and present processing project. Must possess strong work ethic with high integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics or Geology; Master’s preferred.
