Status: Full Time

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, plus an Associate Degree/Vocational Certificate in secretarial education, office administration, or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years secretarial experience required. Without education listed above, a minimum of four (4) years secretarial experience is required.

Licensure/Certifications: None

Other Skills: General computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications, preferably in Microsoft Office. Excellent communications skills along with telephone management required.

The Secretary IV for Home Health performs a variety of routine and complex secretarial duties for various members of the department including the Administrative Director HomeCare, Director of Home Health, Intake RN, HH Liaison, field staff and other office personnel. Specific tasks include receptionist, telephone screening, correspondence, mail, word processing, scheduling meetings and appointments, copying, faxing of billing paperwork to the Dayton office, payroll and other special projects as needed. Routinely has access and knowledge of confidential, sensitive information requiring discretion and independent judgment.
