This position’s primary purpose is to provide excellent guest service and educational information to all guests visiting Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Mirage policies, practices and procedures.

Engage, entertain and inspire all who visit The Mirage.
Lead and consistently demonstrate a complete understanding of The Mirage service standards.
Exemplify effective communication, teamwork and guest interactive skills in all aspects of duties.
Provide educational information and presentations throughout the Dolphin Habitat and the Secret Garden in one-on-one and group situations.
Give safety instructions to all guests and monitor guest and animal safety throughout the habitat.
Memorize information pertaining to animals and the facility.
Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Perform all other job related duties as requested.

Required:
At least 6 months of customer service experience.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including cold and very hot temperatures necessary.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:
Dive certified.
Bilingual.
At least 1 year of public speaking and guest service job.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
