Description: We are seeking to hire a friendly and outgoing individual to provide a high level of customer service at the Maine Park Leisure Center as a Front Desk Office Assistant. Selected individual will be responsible for a variety of customer service tasks including greeting customers, answering phones, channeling callers to appropriate staff members, processing program registrations, memberships, facility bookings and a variety of other clerical tasks. This position is responsive to the general needs and requests of all participants, guests, and staff.

Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of six months clerical experience with an intermediate level of computer, typing and clerical skills. Previous experience with RecTrac software a plus. Basic level of written, verbal communication in the English language and Microsoft Office software is required. Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently. Applicants must be CPR/AED and first aid certified or have the ability to acquire (through our district) within 6 months of hire date. Education: High school diploma (or equivalent)

Availability: We are seeking applicants who are available Tuesday's and Thursday's from 4p.m. to 8:30p.m. and 2 to 3 Saturday's per month from 8:30a.m. to 1p.m. (Applicant must also be available on holidays and demonstrate flexibility to substitute and exchange shifts with other staff members).
