Lead with us as a Manager, Integrated Planning Capabilities team by providing and playing a key role in managing the relationship between Integrated Supply Planning Planners and the IT functions.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as a Manager, Integrated Planning Capabilities at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

Working with Integrated Planners (Supply), IT, CLS internal/external partners, Kellogg internal partners (i.e. DC’s, Plants, etc.) and system vendors

Ensuring system availability and accuracy of data

Being the single point of contact for IT relative to Supply Reporting

Tracking system performance and working with IT on system resolution where needed

Working with business partners on system enhancements and then proceeding forward with the request to IT

Submitting trouble tickets/enhancements to IT. Enhancements are accountable for providing IT the business reason and savings (where applicable).

Reporting publication to internal/external parties – on-time and accurate

Leading team member during yearly and strategic budgeting

supply, demand and reporting

Creating, reviewing with Supply leads and then loading into SNP. This will include on-going monitoring/analyzing SmartOps targets

Managing the tools utilized by the Supply Planners

if there is system break - collaboration will be needed which may require nights/weekends.

Training Planners on systems and reports.This includes system testing/quizzes throughout the year to ensure understanding and proficiency

Owning and gatekeeper of all training templates/books for the planners. This includes a continual review of training materials and updates

Partnering with other team members on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when needed

Partner with Supply Planners and team members to assist with achieving optimal service, cost and inventory balance

Performing adhoc analysis on planner’s system parameters (e.g., Deployment horizons, transit times, shipping constraints, inventory constraints, etc.).

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Integrated Planning to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:
High School Diploma or GED and related Industry experience

Experience in the

supply/demand planning processes

Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree and related Industry experience

Preferred experience working with APO-SAP (SNP, SmartOPS, and BI) or similar database application technology required. Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, SAS, Access or similar software

Experience with system training and the ability to train all levels of the organization

Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong project and time management skills

Knowledge in data manipulation, discovering the root cause of an issue and coming up with the countermeasure

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

10% travel or less.
