This warehouse position involves ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of materials movements that transpire on a daily basis. The position may include the complete set of warehouse transaction activities; Cycle count data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining strict records; managing Customer RMA returns/Vendor repair returns; warehouse metrics management; bin management in the WMS; developing closed loop corrective actions for process deviations; leading continuous improvement activities within the warehouse and supporting cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert.
Primary Duties:
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
Ensures that all stock on the floor is organized, properly stored, and in good condition
Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
Monitors and removes non-moving, expired or defective merchandise from the floor
Packs up expired, defective non-moving items for removal disposition
Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
Perform daily cycle counts on all inventoried products on a scheduled basis
Train staff in product rotation and create procedures to eliminate loss
Create an efficient space utilization plan
Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating inventory
Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision, publish weekly and monthly inventory metrics
Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)
Responsibilities:
Performing cycle count entry, reconciliation and record keeping
Auditing physical location of parts maintained in system
Relabeling part bins and locations in warehouse
Managing warehouse bin structure in SAP
Auditing Jobs for accuracy part counts and labor
Issuing parts and labor to open jobs * Supporting Head of Manufacturing in daily management as required
Warehouse Metrics Management
Issuing correct parts and quantities to WIP Jobs using SAP
Receiving WIP Jobs using SAP
Conducting FG and RM Cycle counts using SAP
Reorganizing inventory shelf space
Printing location labels & inventory bin labels
Supporting warehouse personnel with inventory issues and reconciliation
Completes special tasks as required, and in a timely and positive fashion
Support Material Review Board process for non-conforming material
Support Return Material process

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Inputting information, running management reports etc.)
Strong Excel (will be importing extracted reports into Excel and maintaining information in Excel). Comfort with Data Management capabilities of Excel
