Job Summary
The Woodlands, located in Wilkes-Barre is looking to hire new members for the Front Desk Team! We are seeking out highly motivated individuals with an upbeat attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide our guests with superior customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist guests with the check-in/check-out process.
- Handle money.
- Answer phone calls.
- Make and review reservations.
- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
- Perform as a sales liaison to help maximize revenue for the hotel.
- Drive guests in the company vehicle to the airport, Casino & other approved locations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays & occasional midnight shifts.
- Prior customer service experience
- Must have a valid PA State driver’s License.
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend and stoop for long periods of time. Rapid movement required at times.
