Job Summary

The Woodlands, located in Wilkes-Barre is looking to hire new members for the Front Desk Team! We are seeking out highly motivated individuals with an upbeat attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide our guests with superior customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist guests with the check-in/check-out process.
  • Handle money.
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Make and review reservations.
  • Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
  • Perform as a sales liaison to help maximize revenue for the hotel.
  • Drive guests in the company vehicle to the airport, Casino & other approved locations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays & occasional midnight shifts.
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Must have a valid PA State driver’s License.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend and stoop for long periods of time. Rapid movement required at times.

  • Customer Service: 3 years

  • High school or equivalent
