The executive assistant will be a business partner to the President & CEO, providing comprehensive administrative support. Responsibilities include:

  • Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks for the President & CEO, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments and frequent last-minute changes
  • Composing, preparing, and handling correspondence that is sometimes sensitive and confidential
  • Planning, coordinating, and ensuring the CEO’s schedule is followed and respected through a role as gatekeeper, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO’s time
  • Researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President & CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature; determining appropriate course of action, referral, or response
  • Providing a bridge for communication between the President & CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership and excellent customer service to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff
  • Prioritizing conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously and proactively; and following through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Must be available after hours and on weekends for unexpected schedule changes and other administrative duties affecting the President & CEO.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Decision-making and solution identification ability required; adequate stress tolerance capacity
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and to demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response

Experience/Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting C-level executives is preferred
  • Mastery in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
