Job Summary
Catering Event Coordinator/Event Producer needed for a growing Catering Company.
Candidate will coordinate banquet events, event set up, meet with clients, and make sales calls. Planning for events includes creating menus and event proposals with logistical details such as floor plans, event flow, and staffing/equipment requirements. Actively seek out potential clients in need of catering services. Create and present proposals in a timely manner. Work directly with the clients from day one through the completion of the event. Generate sales for the company.

Responsibilities and Duties
Event Duties include: Setting up off-premise catered events and working dining banquet service from event start to end. Leading event staff by example. Working directly with Clients. Smiling.
Office Duties include: Logistic planning and coordinating for all styles of events at a variety of unique locations. Working with Clients during the planning phase of their events. Writing Catering Proposals. Sales Calls and Sales Presentations. Build new and past client relationships. Menu Design. Responding quickly to client inquiries via phone and email.
While creativity and design are a part of what we do here, that is only a small portion of this job position. We are trendsetters and we do not do things the same way you did them at your last job.
Qualifications and Skills
Required: Catering, Banquet, or Restaurant Experience/Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, & Explorer/Organizational Skills/Detail Oriented/ Customer Service Experience/Pleasant Phone Voice/Email Etiquette/Upbeat Personality/Ability to Multi-task in an Ever Changing Environment/Efficient Time Management/Ability to handle last minute changes.

More Requirements: Willing to work on fun and not-so-fun projects. Understanding that sometimes we get dirty. Character is more important than past job experience. Ability to lift 30 lbs. Smiles and Laughter are always required, but are also easy to come by around here.
Availability for Days, Evenings and Weekends required. Weekly schedule is dependent on event bookings and number of requests for event proposals.
Benefits
Closed most major holidays and many Sundays. Full time Salary position with commission available after acquired training and trial period.

Salary dependent on experience with a starting minimum salary of $30,000/year BEFORE additional sales commission.
