Job Summary

  • Supervises all supervisors and all housekeeping and night attendants.
  • Controls the issuance and return of all keys.
  • Supervises the operation of the linen rooms.
  • Assists the floor supervisors daily.
  • Supervises special cleaning projects i.e. "Project of the Day".
  • Coordinates daily cleaning services to guest rooms and public areas of the hotel
  • Communicates room status to the Front Desk
  • Reports and/or resolves room status discrepancies
  • Checks rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness
  • Controls employee uniforms and manages all lost and found articles.
  • Assists in the training or retraining of new employees
  • Counsels and disciplines employees as needed
  • Schedules personnel and supervises the use of cleaning agents
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the AGM or GM.

Qualifications and Skills

Needs to have housekeeping experience.!
