Job Summary

NWA3D is an educational 3D printing company based in Fayetteville, AR. Our mission is to make 3D printing easy for educators nationwide through service and support of 3D printing. We accomplish that mission in three unique, valuable ways:

• We sell reliable, affordable 3D printers to educators that are rugged and easy to use
• We provide unlimited videoconference training by certified teachers and collaborative curriculum development
• We provide lifetime support, including a no-questions-asked one-year warranty that covers everything mechanical or user related

We’re hiring a full-time 3D printer technician! We need a passionate, self-motivated worker who is looking to change the world for the better in a rapidly growing company.

Position starts at $30k/year with a large potential for more.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties:

• Build 3D printers—a lot
• Pack and ship customer orders
• Provide tech support assistance to customers via email, videoconferencing, and phone
• Manage inventory levels
• Operate and maintain 3D printers and projects
• Help tend retail storefront
• Occasionally travel to trade shows and events to represent the company
• Help produce 3D printing related video content
• Stay current with 3D printing technology

Qualifications and Skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in technology troubleshooting
• Customer service and/or sales experience
• Ability to use tools
• Someone pumped to take a big leap by doing something super crazy, like being an early employee at a 3D printing company where the pay is ok, the stakes are high, and the rewards could be ridiculous

Bonus Qualifications:

• Management experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Shipping/logistics experience
• Experience in providing tech support to customers
• Inventory management experience
• CAD and/or CAM experience
• Classroom teaching experience
• Experience in time travel or regular travel
• Multilingual (English/Spanish/Cantonese)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30,000.00 /year
