As part of the summer intern program you will be provided with hands-on experience that will develop you technically and professionally. The assignments will be located in Southeast Michigan over the course of 12-weeks, the summer intern program also lets you build a network of friends and contacts, have fun, learn valuable skills and see what Ford Motor Company is all about!

We are currently looking to hire Interns for the following areas:

Vehicle Architecture Engineering (Basic Design)
Body Exterior Engineering
Body Interior Engineering
Chassis Engineering
Connected Vehicle and Services (CV&S)
Digital Innovation (DI)
Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineering (EESE)
Electrified Powertrain Engineering (EPE)
Global Engine Engineering (GEE)
Ford and Lincoln Product Programs
Powertrain Controls, Calibrations, and NVH (PCCN)
Powertrain Installations (PTI)
Transmission & Driveline Engineering (TDE)
Research & Advanced Engineering (R&A)
Vehicle Engineering (VE)
Vehicle Evaluation and Verification (VEV)

Minimum Requirements for the Product Development Intern Program:
Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, and other Engineering disciplines in key areas
Business (with engineering background)
3.0 overall GPA minimum
Graduation date between December 2018 and August 2019, limited opportunities for May 2020 graduates

Preferred Requirements:
3.4 GPA or higher
Involvement with Formula SAE or similar extracurricular activities, strong communication skills, ability to work within diverse teams
