We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to join the Special Project (Marketing) Squad and handle RevoUpedia at RevoU.

As a Content Editor, you will be primarily responsible for producing content briefs for our career-related articles on different topics such as a career in Product Management, Digital Marketing, and Data Analytics. You would also be responsible for editing those articles.

More specific on what you will support the team with:

  • Assist in performing keyword research and competitive research to research possible career-related topics that would educate and engage our target audience
  • Create original, detailed, easy-to-understand, and SEO-friendly content briefs for our career-related articles
  • Ability to include relevant internal and external links within copy using anchor text
  • Conduct developmental edits and offer input to enhance quality, organization, clarity, and content effectiveness
  • Ensuring content topics are covered comprehensively with ample examples to illustrate objectives
  • Fact checks and verifies information, making sure content is 100% accurate
  • Collaborate with our Technical Content Editors to proofread and edit the writing style of our technical articles
  • Assisting projects and monitoring deadlines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist in monitoring content performance on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Keep up-to-date about the education industry and the markets we operate in

Requirements

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

  1. Proven at least two years of experience editing long-form content and producing content briefs. Having experience in content writing and daily deadlines is preferred.
  2. Have a fundamental understanding of career-related topics, especially careers in tech such as Product Management, Digital Marketing, and/or Data Analytics.
  3. Using your creativity, research, and data analysis skills, you can identify high-demand topics and translate them into relevant content ideas and briefs for RevoU.
  4. Excellent attention to detail. You are thorough about the integrity of your content. You care about giving people something of real value and understand the seriousness of being a bearer of misinformation, especially with topics entirely new to you.
  5. Ability to handle different tasks and work fast under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. Focused and not easily distracted, calm under pressure, and well-organized.
  6. Collaboration is something you’re excellent at. To be a great content editor, you’ll need to work closely with different people in the company. So it’s crucial to have the ability to work well with others to achieve a shared, common goal.
  7. Continues Improvement Mentality & GRIT. Growing an organic audience is not an easy task. Some strategies might work, others might not, and it’s perfectly ok. What’s important is that you don’t give up and keep pushing yourself to try again.
