Virtually recreating customers’ exact rooms in 3D presents a tremendous technical challenge. You’ll be working on problems that lie at the intersection of Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Computer Graphics. You will develop cutting-edge algorithms for reconstructing CAD-quality 3D models from RGB(D) and inertial sensors that will be deployed at a massive scale. You will be developing customer-facing and back-end components, and internal tools. You will learn and adopt the latest innovations in the field and contribute to our engineering team’s technological excellence.

The ideal candidate…

  • knows who Hartley and Zisserman are
  • can teach us the difference between MVS, SLAM and SfM
  • knows how to steer clear of singularities in a rotational parameter space
  • eats CVPR papers for breakfast and even has published research papers
  • can clearly communicate research ideas and motivate them
  • can find the right balance between rigor and pragmatism
  • can take an idea from prototype stage to a shippable implementation
  • can think of practical solutions with humans in the loop where needed
  • has been developing commercial computer vision software for several years
